Golden.

 Last weekend was GOLDEN ONION DAYS in Payson! What a great time!

We are some HAPPY runners! 

 We ran the Onion Days 5k.  If you read my weight loss blog {which sucks....so sorry if you read it maybe someday I'll be good at losing weight :) } You may recall that I had been training for this.  It was a pretty good race.  I finished the first mile in 12 min.  My final time was 46 min 31 sec. {don't judge} I averaged 15 min miles.  Not too shabby if you ask me! There will only be improvement from here!

We had an exciting family BBQ complete with Smurfing and Ticket to Ride.

We also went to a neighborhood BBQ.  Which was equally exciting.

This is classy.  A new addition to the Onion Days celebration was this bad boy.  It's a monster truck if you can't tell.  They created a monster truck "course" in a field where you could pay 5 big ones and ride over hills and smashed cars while strapped into this vehicle.  That's the way we do it. 

  

And then Carlie got asked to Homecoming! How exciting!! 

Whilst

Ya see I've been homeless for the last ten days....so what does one do whilst being homeless???  Oh they go live with their parents. :)

It's been a wild ride for me these last ten days of ya know sleeping....watching tv....doing the dishes...taking web cam photos....watching more tv....etc etc.

Oh the excitement.
But tomorrow I'm going back to the good ol' University life.  And I'm sure once classes start going again, I'll be dreamin of these homeless days :)

Tell the world...

I'm comin home.
I've been wondering where home is for me lately.
Is it my parents house? Is it at my apartment in Logan? Who really knows....
None the less I spent the last couple weeks at my parents house which when I'm there is home for me :) It was a good time!  However, I missed Logan.  One of the main reasons I missed living here in L-town is because you NEVER have to drive on the freeway.  It's a beautiful thing.  When I'm in P-town, the only place you can go really w/out getting on the free way is grocery shopping....or to the movies.  If you want to go out to eat anywhere that's not Mexican---freeway.  If you want to catch the awesome sale at Old Navy---freeway.  If you want to go to a dollar movie---freeway.  Get it? It's not fun.  I missed being able to just kick it down to Main Street and have anything I needed right down the road.  But I'm back!

While I was home, I did some fun stuff.  I was REALLY bad at taking pictures of the events so I'll try my best to get everything documented....

~ I worked at the beloved flower shop
~ Had a wonderful memorial day BBQ
~ Helped my mom pack up her classroom
~ Spent time with the grandparents
~ Spent some great times with the BFF
~ My sister's 24th b-day
~ My brothers seminary graduation, high school graduation, and his ordination to become an elder

Anyway... like I said I was really bad at taking pictures.  But alas I'm glad to be back home in Logan!! :) 

Frustration....

Today I am frustrated.

But first...5 awesome things that have made me happy today...

   1.....being home with the fam

   2.....Watching Cam's baseball game

   3.....Cam hitting the winning hit!!

   4.....General Conference

   5.....Eating asparagus...yummm

Now frustration. So since I deactivated my facebook (for long complicated dumb reasons), I've resorted to doing some heavy blog stalking.  I'm not proud but I'm also not in denial.  Anyway I found a blog of a girl I recognized from one of my classes last semester.  She's pretty funny and I enjoyed her blog.  But I was frustrated because she wrote that three boys had hit on her that day.  I'm not exactly frustrated that boys were hitting on her, because she's a cute girl and she totally deserves an awesome man, the frustration is coming from the fact that I can't remember the last time a boy (over the age of 7) hit on me.  Seriously! Why? It's a very frustrating ordeal.  I would love to have men hit on me.....they just don't.  Nuff said.

I'm also frustrated because I found the cutest mustard yellowy dress the other day, and it didn't fit.  Story. Of. My. Life.  However, now I am obsessed with mustard yellow (hence the new blog design) and can't get my mind off the fact that I want ok actually need a mustard yellow outfit....even just a cardigan would be lovely! If anyone knows or sees of any adorable mustard yellow clothing pah-lease let me know where!
