Happy birthday to myself on the 21st!!!
Now I'm 19 years old...that seems pretty weird to me. My birthday was so funnn! First I slept in...then watched some good ol TV with Shea...then I got to do one of my favorite holiday traditions and go shopping for the widow/widower baskets my ward makes. I've been doing this for like maybe 4 years and I just really love it! So after I went and did that my parents took me to Red Lobster...oh my lanta...SO GOOD!!!! ha ha We then went back and opened presents....I got a new bedspread...which I LOVE! So obvioulsy it was an AAAAMAZING day!

The Fam...minus CJ because he had to be at a basketball tournament in St George

My Birthday Pie :)
I had such a great day! :)

So this week is finals most college students stay up all night and study study I...nope I sit here and type this!! man but I did study basically since church ended til I guess thats great! The end of the semester means a lot of things for me....
  • I will be all alone in my apartment....:(
  • I will be raking in the bucks at work
  • I can watch boy meets world ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!! YIPPY
  • I don't have to go to school
  • Christmas Movies
  • Christmas food..ya know like from the neighbors..luckily I am going home on the 18th so their better still be some goods left!

Time for some down time ya know...before a new semester starts on January 11th Oh gees! I hear each semester goes my faster so basically it'll be over before I know it :( :)

Oh so tender

This video is precious. I love that gospel and how it really just comes down to simple things. A few Sundays ago we had Ward Conference and the bishop talked about the small and simple things we can do each day to make great things come to pass. Then when I was home last Sunday, my dad gave a talk about Naman. Naman had leperacy (how do you spell that?:)) He was told to dip in the river Jordan 7 times and he would be healed. My dad referenced this to the simple things we are told to do. WOW! I love when things correlate like that. I now that it's not coincidence either. There is something SMALL AND SIMPLE that I need to work on!!

Oh Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving for a few reasons....
  1. FOOD: my mom is quite frankly the best thanksgiving chef EVER! I'll just tell you what we ate.....turkey, pork, the BEST yam thing ever!, mashed potatoes, salad, jello, rolls..oh gees writing about it makes me want to eat it again!
  2. Family: I love my family...especially at thanksgiving time! Curtis and his family came down for the day and it was a lot of fun. they are so cute! Also Bri and Luke were there for a while...Mallory was there...and Grandma and Grandpa Nielson! it was so good to see them after so long!
  3. Football y Wiffleball: (who knows how to spell that??) I love playing with the fam! Basically we are so's like watching the pros!
  4. Movies: We have this tradition to go see a movie on Thanksgiving day...this year we went and saw Blind Side...and can I just say..SOOO GOOD!! I just loved it. Sandra Bullock did a great job at acting..oh it was just good!
  5. Shopping: this year was the first time I went black friday shopping and I actually really liked t! I got some good movies that were only $5! And I got Mr. Beans Holiday...for $3!! STEAL!
  6. Christmas Decorations: I honestly hate putting them up...but I love when they're up! It's so happy!
I have so much to be thankful for! My life is amazing and I really couldn't ask for more!!
