My apartment had smelled nasty ever since I moved in. I knew the rotten stench had to be coming from my fridge. I searched and searched for the culprit and finally found it the other day. A carton of whipping cream. That had expired on........NOVEMBER 6!! I seriously dry heaved and then thought about throwing it in the trash but I didn't know if my roommate was like saving it for a purpose. But I just couldn't take it anymore and yesterday, I tossed it away. It is so nice not to smell that all the time.
