Meanwhile...

Meanwhile I was running tonight (ya I ran. for the first time in a long time. I'm out of shape....) anyway I didn't have my ipod because it was dead ( my ipod never dies...it was weird) so I just did a lot of thinking.

I've slacked off on my piano and organ playing. In fact I don't think I even remember how to play the organ and playing the piano is just boring to me.  I don't really want to "practice" more or anything like that though because I have no reason to I feel like.  But, I do need to practice the organ more because it's a pretty good skill to have.

Anyway, I was also thinking about how much I LOVED teaching piano lessons. I can't wait to have my own piano and home so I can teach lessons again.   I really just love it so so much.

I also love Jon Schmidt I signed up for his emailing list so I can get heads up for his concerts.  Also, I found out that he wrote a easier note reading program for young children.  You can download it for free off the Internet and so of course I did.  I can't wait to look of it and use it.  I'm sure it's great. Then he has a book that has a 67 fun songs for the kids to play.  I am hopefully going to get it tomorrow. I'm excited.
  Ya, I'm a weirdo!

Also, meanwhile I was shopping today with Carlie, I got called to do cherries again!! Yippy....hahaha Ya know I'm thankful that I'm going to be able to do it again because I desperately need the money.  And plus who doesn't love working in a smelly warehouse all night 6 nights a week!! YAY! :)

Regrets

Today my mind has sorta been in another place.  I did some cleaning and laundry and seriously my mind was going 5000mph thinking about the
should-a
would-a
what-ifs
 and
if-onlys
For instance, what if I had stayed in Logan for the summer.  Continued working at Information Alliance and looked for another- better job.  I probably should-a done that.
If only I wasn't so scared to leap outside of my comfort zone and try something I've never done before.
I should-a taken a risk and stayed in Logan and made new friends.  Would I have made new friends or just sat around depressed.
Unfortuantly these questions can't be answered. I will never know what would-a happened.  The what-if will remain a what-if

But what I know right now is that I made a decision and if I want to waste my time looking back and wondering if I made the right one, I can do that.

But I think I just need to embrace this time I have at home for all it's worth.  I need to make sure that I don't leave any leaf unturned. I don't want to look back on this summer and wonder about the what-ifs and shoud-a could-a would-a's.  It's not worth it.  I want to live from here on out with no regrets.  Take the leaps life gives me.  I'm so blessed with a lot of opportunities and it's time I did something with them!

You could call me a country traveler

So I actually haven't traveled the WHOLE country, but I've been to see some pretty cool places!

Since a picture is worth 1000 words, I'll let them do the talking!! :)

First stop: Philadelphia, PA
First off all I feel like this was my first brush with a "big city".  I mean I've been to Mesa, Salt Lake, and Phoenix, and even San Diego, but nothing compared to the traffic we drove in here.  Anyway...
We went to Valley Forge, The Liberty Bell, a cool church, Independence Hall (but we couldn't get in for a tour) and the art museum with the famous rocky steps, where we made our own "art".
After our trip to the "big" city, there were two epic clue games both of which I lost :(

Next Stop: New York!!
New York was awesome! I loved every minute of it.  We first walked around got a hot dog and headed to the theatre where our Broadway show was going to be.  We saw South Pacific.  It was great!! Then we continued to Time Square.  We also went to China Town and got some amazing massages.  If only I had pictures...they would be epic!

Next Stop: Washington DC
Washington DC was beautiful.  I loved being there and the feeling of the town. I'm so grateful for this country and all the sacrifices that so many people have made so that we can live the way we do.  We went to a sobering Holocaust museum.  I was very touched by the beautiful exhibit.  We also went to the American History Smithsonian and the mall where the Washington Monument, Lincoln Monument, and War Memorials are.  It was beautiful.

On our final day we spent some good times with our family.  It was great to spend time with my cousins because I don't get to see them very often.  We played poker,  wiffle ball (spelling??),  went to Gentry's graduation, went to dinner, and shopping.  It was so much fun.  I'm so grateful to my aunt and uncle for everything they did for us.  It was an AMAZING vacation that I will seriously always cherish!!
What a great trip!

oh SYTYCD

I seriously LOVE So You Think You Can Dance.
I mean it's strange because well I don't think I can dance and well I suck at dancing and always have...but still I love it so so so much!! It's going to be a great season I can already tell.  They are bringing  back some of my favorites from past seasons.  In fact, I love all the people they brought back except for Comfort. Never liked her.  But nonetheless....it's the best show on tv.

My current favorites are KENT!! and Lauren.  I love Kent so much I get goosebumps everytime he dances.  OH man I'm stoked!!
Watch the video..you'll fall in love too! Then watch SYTYCD...seriously you won't regret it !!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl2N9YJatrE&feature=related

What can you do?

I went and paid my ticket yesterday.
$140
Just a little frustrated......
But after Traffic School on the 10th it will all be behind me.
I hate cops!

Nonetheless, life moves forward and I'm just taking it all in!!!  : )

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
