I have been meaning to blog about this for quite sometime now.

They recently broke the ground for the Payson, Utah LDS temple.

I am completely and entirely stoked for this beautiful building to be built.

I wasn't able to attend the groundbreaking, but heard it was a beautiful time.

As a child, my parents worked out at this gym where we would go for day care.  As you walked to the front door, the sidewalk was replaced with a HUGE storm drain.  My dad would tease me and tell me that there were alligators under the drain and if you shook it they would  eat you.  As I would timidly walk across the drain, my dad would stomp and march on the end so it would shake the whole storm drain.  I would bawl and run to the end as fast as I could before the alligators that were in there could get to me.  

I believed my dad, and I still do. 

I'm still very afraid to walk over these storm drains in fear that the second I start across, it will begin to rattle and shake and I'll become that terrified little girl again.   I avoid walking on them at all costs.  If I do have to walk over them, I walk very slowly and cautiously.  

It's a problem.

Feliz Cumpleanos.

Today is my wittle sisters birthday!!!!
She's the baby of the family and today is 17 years old.  However to me she is still 9.  I feel like it will always be that way :)
Happy Birthday Car Car! I love you!!!

 Carlie......

1. Says head ache funny.

2. She is sooo talented. Way good at the piano and a beautiful singer.  When she sings "for good" from wicked, I cry.  Kinda a big deal  :)

3. Is so crafty. She blows my mind.

 4. Loves Zumba

5. Has a good fashion sense.

6. Loves kids and is so great with them.

 7. Has put up with a lot of crap from me.  

8.  Has a very kind heart and is always willing to help people out.

9. LOVED playing house when she was little. 

10.  Is good at volleyball.

11. Is good at doing hair.

12. Loves all the nicknames I come up with for her...like Car Jar Binks

13. and Es Car Go

14. Is good at driving stick shift.

15. Used to stick random things up her nose as a child.

16. Wants to be a choir teacher (I think...) 

17. Has an older sister who loves her very much and is very proud of the women she's becoming :)

I've heard that a lot lately....
"You've changed"
At first I thought to myself...
"No I haven't"
But as I looked at my life and the things I've been doing and the choices I've been making I realized something...
I have changed. 
I've finally become myself.
I finally know who I am.
I finally feel like I act like myself all the time.
I'm finally happy with the way I am.
I finally respect myself and believe in myself.

I don't know how it happened, but I'm sure glad it did.

I feel real.  I feel renewed.

I don't feel like I'm being who everyone else wants me to be.

I don't feel fake.

I feel like I'm becoming the person I always wanted to be.

I feel like although it's different to some people, it's perfect for me.

I feel great about life and can't wait for the next steps! :)

Boost.

Ya know how when you go to Jamba Juice you can get boosts....like energy or immunity???
Well kids I have an even better boost option for you.
It's called 4th graders.

I did my practicum in a 4th grade class.  When I left, the kids gave me letters and I will tell you what.....they are amazing!!!!!

I know this may be boring for you to read....but deal with it....or don't....you have your agency.  :)

We all are gonna miss you.  Good job teaching little rascels and the other one (me.) My favorite thing was the story when I was the old lady.  Besides I am an old Lady anyways.  We are your youngest pals.

Thank you for everything you have done.  You are the greatest person in the whole intire world.  I wish you could stay.
P.S. Make sure the rest of your life is exciting and you have more adventures.  If your a student teacher again make sure the kids like you as much as I did.  Hope you have the best day ever in your whole intire life.
Make sure everyone of the people in your school know how awesome you are every single day.  You are the best student teacher and pearson in the whole wide world.  Again thank you for everything you have done like grade our papers, help us if we get stuck on a problem, your patient and your the best pearson in the world.  Make sure every human being knows that you are awesome and the best pearson in the world.  And remember to stay happy the rest of your life.

Sometimes I wish I were asian....

Perhaps that a strange thing to wish.  But I don't keeer.

Other times I wish for nothing more than I have.
My life right now is in a good place.  Good home. Good family. Good friends.
The only thing missing is a good job....but we are working on that.
I'm not working After School Club because of my practicum.  Which by the way is fine.
I finished my first block last week and was terribly sad to leave those children.  But more on that later. :)
Other than that I am doing amazing.  Life is good and I'm happy!
Even though I'm not Asian :)
